I assume he goes into more detail in his second book and I'll read it out of curiosity. but throughout the book, he made it seem like he was only doing illegal things with his own money and using "wall street gray area tactics" with his firm. The thing is, he glazes over the part at the end where he scammed money out of people and had to pay it back. I read the book and although I didn't hate him at the end, I found him to be a person I can't admire. Good to hear - I had the same feelings about Belfort after reading the book. Went from having a great time with Leo to hating him by the end of the movie.
